Tufenkian Heritage, Yereven Historic Hotel

If you would like to stay in a 4 star hotel where the modern meets the traditional, whilst offering the security of a chain, then you may want to take a look at The Tufenkian Historic Yerevan Hotel.  This particular hotel, in the centre of Yerevan, is the newest member of the Tufenkian Heritage Hotels’ chain – having opened in September 2012.  However, it has already accommodated hundreds of guests in the short time it has been open...and in this short time, it has already been ranked as the 2nd best hotel in Yerevan out of 40 hotels on Trip Adviser.  This could be attributed to first-rate level of luxury offered by the well-appointed rooms and warm, friendly and professional staff.  Positioned just off Republic Square, it is also perfectly placed for visitors to explore the capital, easily.  What more could you want?

Upon arrival, you are greeted with a 24-hour reception and staff who are pleased to help you day and night.  Check in is from 3.00pm and check out is by 12 noon. 

Services and Amenities
The hotel the following services and amenities: two level underground parking; bar/lounge; a 90 person on-site restaurant, which offers age-old Western and Eastern Armenian cuisine;  a 50 person conference room; a business centre; and city views from the rooms.

Guest Rooms
There 83 rooms, with five different room rates available: Small Queen Size, Standard Two Twin, Standard King Size, Junior Suite and Executive Suite.  Room rates start at 47,700 AMD and finish at 110,000 AMD per night (as of February of 2014).  The rooms start at fairly reasonable price and rise to what may be considered more of an indulgent price.  However, even the most basic room at this hotel offers customers the same amenities as the other rooms – just in a smaller space - whereas, a suite offers much more space, a bath tub (for the ultimate relaxation), bath robes and a balcony.  Each room features: bedside tables, writing desks, coffee and tea –making facilities, a shower, a hairdryer, satellite TV, fluffy cotton towels, air conditioning, a safe box and a refrigerator.

Overall, this hotel has been awarded 4.5 stars out of 5 on the Trip Adviser website (written by independent visitors to the hotel).  When broken down, the hotel received: 5 stars for location, cleanliness and service;  4.5 stars for rooms, sleep quality and value.  Some of the guests said the following:
