Travel and tourism is vital to the economies of many smaller
countries with some relying more heavily on the tourists more than others. Tourism has a big impact in the Armenian
economy, however, it also does an excellent job at promoting international cooperation
and fostering good relations with their neighbours. The exchange between cultures
helps Armenia to develop and grow as a nation and also the more cultures that visit
the more Armenia can cater for foreign tourists.

see, furthermore, the ancient country has a rich history as one of the earliest

Bailey went on to comment how he returned the following year with the express purpose of visiting provincial, historical buildings with a Christian ancestry. This trip, he said, provided enough content for several books on the subject of early Christian worship on the ancient world.

Despite an interest in Christian history Bailey has said on
many occasions that the fascination with Armenia is not with its ancient
history but with the welcome his offered by the country.

“When I return to Armenia I feel like I am returning a second home.” Bailey uses his other passion which is photography to chart his travels around the country. “I love to capture a country though it people, they can say some much just by looking don the lens of your camera.”
